A Glimpse Into the Future of Boating

We are merging our Florida East Coast Cruising information in to the website this week, so check back!

Our Cruising Guides section is now easier to use!
We have divided the major waterways into different sections. You can view the full area, or choose just a section of it, and you can reverse the route to match your direction of travel.

Google Earth Keys
Since it is possible to view our waterways in Google Earth, a lot of users are asking how to move around the waterways while in Google Earth. The most complete explanation is the Google Earth User Guide under the [Help] menu but we will show you a few tips here.

Grab and Throw - You can get things moving by click and holding the screen, move your mouse and release. This action is like throwing something, with a little practice, you'll get thing moving.

Zooming - Click and hold the right mouse button on the map area and move up and down. You can also double click an area to zoom in.

Saving Items on Exit- When exiting Google Earth, DO NOT save the items in your Temporary Places folder. These are the places from MyBoatersGuide which are updated daily. To save these items would be like saving today's weather forecast for tomorrow, it might not be the same.
